“Sergio” hosts a brand new line of exciting, educational and informative episodes featuring local skippers, guides and experts in their various fields.  Angler Chronicles brings to its viewers the very best wide open sportfishing action the west has to offer with both fresh and saltwater fishing including Southern California, Mexico, British Columbia and Alaska. 

Joining Sergio each week is the Angler Chronicles Fishing Schools Director, Ron Hobbs, and all instructors including Ben Secrest.  Sergio and crew are an accomplished team with decades of experience in both salt and freshwater venues.  Angler education and exciting bent rod action continue to be Sergio’s goal as host and executive producer of Angler Chronicles.

Angler Chronicles Television is produced by eleven time Telly Award winning television producer Danny Jackson.  Danny has more than two decades of experience producing for The Outdoor Channel, FOX Sports West and now Bally Sports West Television.

Award winning outdoor videographer and expert aerial cinematographer, John Senften, has now joined the Angler Chronicles television crew adding a whole new level of creativity helping to garner more Telly Awards for broadcast excellence in the Cable Television Industry.

Angler Chronicles strives to bring only wholesome family entertainment to your television screen.  Seen on Bally Sports West Television as well satellite feeds throughout north America in stunning high definition.

Don’t miss Angler Chronicles weekly on Bally Sports West Television from 8 to 9 a.m and 10:00 a.m. Sundays on Bally SoCal, and Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m.  We are seen a total of five times each week on the Bally networks.  Check your local listings.

East Cape Pilgrimage

Join Sergio and his wife, Rhonda, Ron Hobbs and the Angler Chronicles crew as they head out on  their annual pilgrimage to the 14th Annual "Casting4Souls" charity event in Los Barriles, Baja California Sur, Mexico.  This weeks episode is “East Cape Pilgrimage” at the Hotel Palmas De Cortez.

The AC Crew teams up with Jack and Graham McCulloch of Fishers of Men West Coast, Eddie Dalmau with Van Wormer Resorts, and Soles4Souls to provide thousands of pairs of shoes for the local residents from La Paz to Cabo San Lucas. This is definitely a “give back” program to the very deserving and needy local residents. Not only shoes for everyone, but also shirts, socks, sun glasses and much more thanks to our generous sponsors. 

Sportfishing excels in the East Cape as you will see. And the Van Wormer Resorts are the gateway to the Sea of Cortez.

The Black Pearl

Join Sergio, Ron Hobbs and all the Angler Chronicles crew aboard the Black Pearl out of Virg’s Landing in Morro Bay, California.  This is a very special two days of fishing close to Big Sur and Cape San Martin.  This area along the central California coast is home to the best rock fishing to be found anywhere. 

Huge halibut, ling cod, vermillion rockfish, chili’s and many other great tasting bottom grabbers are the main target.  And the target was hit!

Whether it's trying to catch big fish or simply enjoying the local coast on one of their whale watching tours, the crew of Black Pearl Sportfishing has you covered.

The Black Pearl is a 65 by 19 foot Sportfisher with a galley that seats up to 16 and 25 single bunk berthing makes overnight trips very comfortable.  With an impressive 120 scoop bait capacity and a 5 ton refrigerated spray brine fish hold, we arrived back in Morro Bay with lots of quality fish for all to take home.
