This Week On The Angler Chronicles
Millions of dollars has been raised for the Olive Crest Foundation through the annual Olive Crest Saltwater Pro/Am bass tournaments. Angler Chronicles has played a very big part over the years.
The Twelfth Annual Olive Crest Pro/Am was presented by Brant McGlothlin with Carne De Theresa and Angler Chronicles’ Sergio. This year’s tournament was phenomenal. A great turnout with more than fifty teams competed in this terrific fund raising event.
This “bass only” competition works like this. A total bag of up to five bass can be weighed in by each team. Any combination of Calico and Sand Bass as well as Spotted Bay Bass are allowed. Spotted Bay bass count as double their weight. The heaviest bag at the end of the day wins. It’s that simple.
Great aerial cinematography by award winning outdoor videographer, John Senften, makes for a fabulous Olive Crest Pro/Am episode.

Join Sergio, Ron Hobbs and all the Angler Chronicles crew aboard the Gentleman out of Channel Islands Sportfishing in Oxnard. This is a very special chartered event aboard several “CISCO’s” sportfishers as Anglers Anonymous treats 120 veterans to a great day of fishing.
Our nations veterans as well as active military rarely get a chance to enjoy a day on the water such as this and Angler Chronicles is proud to be a part. You will also learn all about Anglers Anonymous, a non profit organization dedicated to taking veterans fishing who might not otherwise get the chance.
Ling Cod as well as a variety of rockfish are the species of the day and well known to all Channel Islands Sportfishing anglers.
Angler Chronicles is always eager to help out with charities and fundraisers, especially those having to do with our veterans and our nations military as well as children’s charities and all those in need.
