“Sergio” hosts a brand new line of exciting, educational and informative episodes featuring local skippers, guides and experts in their various fields.  Angler Chronicles brings to its viewers the very best wide open sportfishing action the west has to offer with both fresh and saltwater fishing including Southern California, Mexico, British Columbia and Alaska. 

Joining Sergio each week is the Angler Chronicles Fishing Schools Director, Ron Hobbs, and all instructors including Ben Secrest.  Sergio and crew are an accomplished team with decades of experience in both salt and freshwater venues.  Angler education and exciting bent rod action continue to be Sergio’s goal as host and executive producer of Angler Chronicles.

Angler Chronicles Television is produced by eleven time Telly Award winning television producer Danny Jackson.  Danny has more than two decades of experience producing for The Outdoor Channel, FOX Sports West and now Bally Sports West Television.

Award winning outdoor videographer and expert aerial cinematographer, John Senften, has now joined the Angler Chronicles television crew adding a whole new level of creativity helping to garner more Telly Awards for broadcast excellence in the Cable Television Industry.

Angler Chronicles strives to bring only wholesome family entertainment to your television screen.  Seen on Bally Sports West Television as well satellite feeds throughout north America in stunning high definition.

Don’t miss Angler Chronicles weekly on Bally Sports West Television from 8 to 9 a.m and 10:00 a.m. Sundays on Bally SoCal, and Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m.  We are seen a total of five times each week on the Bally networks.  Check your local listings.

Ocean Odyssey 2019

Join Sergio and the Angler Chronicles crew aboard San Diego’s finest luxury sportfisher, the Ocean Odyssey out of H&M Landing.  This is an OWNER Hooks Fishing Schools charter and we encounter terrific sportfishing for Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna and huge COW Bluefins !!

2018 marked some of the very best giant Bluefin Tuna fishing on record.  On this fabulous 2.5 day trip aboard the “Double O”, Captain Rick Scott saved the best for last as the big boys came out to play literally “at the buzzer.”

Even the most avid sportfishermen enjoy their sport all their life and never catch a tuna of any kind more than 50 or 60 pounds and that is if they are real fortunate.  But on this special charter, young 16 year old Jacob, catches what might be his personal best for a long, long time.  You will have to watch the episode to find out.  Also, Angler Chronicles friend, William Johnson, from Lake Elsinore gets in on the COW BFT action.

Love at the Charlottes

Sergio and Angler Chronicles are regular visitors to Haida Gwaii, Queen Charlotte Islands of British Columbia and always stay at Queen Charlotte Safaris.  This week Sergio and his wife, Rhonda are joined by Chad and Jojo and together they enjoy terrific fishing for Chinook “King” Salmon, huge Ling Cod, Pacific Halibut and giant Vermillion Rockfish.

Our motto on this fabulous trip is “Couples who fish together - stay together.” There is nothing greater than taking your significant other on an escape to Haida Gwaii, British Columbia and staying at the best fishing lodge and resort in all of Canada, Queen Charlotte Safaris.

Once again, our award winning cinematographer, John Senften, captures the breathtaking, majestic beauty of Haida Gwaii located just off the northern British Columbia coast.  In addition to the fabulous fishing, Humpback Whales, Black Bear, Bald Eagles, Deer, Sea Lions and much more round out this very special episode of Angler Chronicles, “Love at the Charlottes.”
