A new world record of nearly $300,000.00 was raised for the children of Olive Crest Foundation at this year’s OLIVE CREST Pro/Am.  The seventh annual Olive Crest Tournament was presented by Brant McGlothlin with Carne De Theresa and Angler Chronicles, “Sergio,” and a phenomenal tournament it was.

The Olive Crest Pro/Am is a saltwater bass fishing tournament with plenty of quality Calico and Barred Sand Bass coming to the weigh-in.

Great aerial cinematography by award winning outdoor videographer, John Senften, makes for a fabulous Olive Crest Pro/Am episode.

Catalina Hoopin'

Posted by admin on January 16, 2019

A very special episode of Angler Chronicles is in store for you this week filmed entirely at Catalina Island aboard the Triton out of L.A. Waterfront Sportfishing.  Sergio and friends enjoy incredible Hoopin’ for California Spiny Lobster.  This charter is an OWNER Hooks fishing school and is a combo trip also featuring great rock fishing.

Hoop netting for lobsters is a great way to enjoy the evening, coming away with terrific table fare netting these great eating Spiny Lobsters.  And since this is a combination lobster and rock fish excursion, our passengers aboard the Triton get the best of both worlds.  Captain Shane Kelly is at the helm of the Triton and gets us into “limit” fishing on these tasty “bugs.”

Don’t miss Catalina Hoopin’!   Great lobster and rockfish scores aboard the Triton!
